Brakes....One More Time...!
The red colored brake linings you speak off sound like Raybestos (the best in brakes), or so says their ad. they are sold at pep boys auto parts I think. I buy the premium pads and shoes, Bendix if I can find them. I'd rather put on good brakes once than replace "lifetime" pads several times
I used to do that when I was younger and had more energy and less money
I've found the premium pads don't dust as much as the store brand. I don't mind paying more for safety items such as brakes
The perf. friction are full metallic for racing applications, they stop real good at the expense of your rotors.
