I have been quoted 875.00 installed for the Jacobs E-brake at the local dodge dealer. Does this sound about right or is it to high?

 

Not bad for a dealer price. I inquired about adding one when I was looking at a used '01 CTD and they quoted just under that, $825-830 if I remember. I have a shop account at that particular dealer so I told them I was just wondering. Since I can get the brake for shop cost and install it myself I was looking for ammo to convince the wife that I was going to save some money in the process ;D<br><br>Didn't spring for that truck so it was a moot point.

If time isn't a concern I would recommend doing it yourself. It's easy and it aquaints you with the equipment.
