brake adjustment

I have never adjusted any brake's before so the only dumb question is the one you don't ask right? When under the truck do you spin the star wheel up toward's the bed or down to garage floor. Thank's Don

From: Where water boils at 193.4°

I turn it up toward the bed to tighten. I don't think it will go the other way without releasing the self adjuster keeper.
