blow by
blow by
In the last few weeks I have noticed quite a bit of blow-by and some oil drips coming from the puke hose.
Other than the above the truck is running great.
The truck has 158K and has been running Rotela from day one.
I am getting concerned that a major problem may be developing.
Has anyone had the same problems and if so what was the cure?

Get an oil analysis done. That will tell you for sure if there's any thing unusual taking place inside the engine.
Both of mine drip a few drops of oil after shut down. With the engine running I can see a light haze of smoke coming out.
The other thing you can do to check for excessive blowby is buy or make a manometer so you can check the blowby pressure. There is some published data of what is considered normal and what is excessive.
