Best port for FP Gauge

I looked at all 17 pages and found a few ideas, but what is the best/easiest place to Install a FP gauge sensor. on an 01, its an electric autometer phantom

I will be remote locating it with 3' braided stainless, 1/4" line should do right?
and using a snubber.

So far Im leaning towards one of the filter housing ports

Thanks for all the help so far guys. My pump was delayed at the border, but the old vp came out really easy. and ill post pics of what I came up with for gauge mounting.

as close as possible to the VP. the fuel pressure test port on the fuel line can be swapped for a fitting
