Question BEEN AWHILE- '02 HO with 275 injectors, DBOX...EGT Q's ect???

i havent been here for awhile, been working way too much!

got to say that my 02 HO 6SPD,with the 275 injectors, HYPERTECH D-BOX, 4" turbo back and a BHAF is faster than a modded 5.0 mustang!

stock clutch holding up great too!

i dont have any gauges yet, just wondering if that combo is OK?
i havent towed yet since the latest mod of the 275s.

do i need to turn the boost up more to lower my egts?
the truck is serving daily duties, but i need to tow here in a few months, do i need to turnbuckle the wastegate? what approx boost level will that yeild, and is that what i need to do?

The truck does blow smoke at first, but i dont try to get after it till i hit 2000 RPM to keep down on the smoke- i think the box is adjustable-

please help me out here-
i need to find out if i need to turn the boost up, where to get a scotty air filter system, what the max EGT i should be running with that setup, what the max boost i should run with the stock HX 35 in my 02 cummins HO 3500.

which exhaust runner to tap in a EGT probe on the E manifold?

much appreciated, i sure do appreciate the help guys...
thanks

Dang bro You should get some gauges a.s.a.p., And put your pyro probe pre turbo on the 4,5,6 side of your exhaust manifold. I too just started developing lots of power due to some wonderfull mods and the first thing to go is the clutch. If your running stock boost you should turn it up too. to about 26 to 30 psi should be nice for you ...I think...

Any way stay cool and good luck JIM

Tap the fuel pressure gauge into the schrader valve on the VP44. Install the pyro pre turbo on the 4,5,6 side. Buy the Scotty system from Rod at wildcatdiesel.com. Buy gauges from either him or Merrick and laredoperformancediesel.com.

You should see no less than 8 psi of fuel pressure at WOT. Your boost should be around 30-35 psi. EGT's no higher than 1250 for an extended period of time.

JIM- the D-BOX is a rebadged non adjustable edge box. it provides 65 horse and 180TQ also includes a orifice with the kit to up the boost to about 30ish???

how high can i run it up to? 35? it does puff a little at WOT down the highway, but not much--- ive got a BHAF, but need a new one.

thanks for the help guys!
