ok this problem just started... the truck has been starting slower than usual but yesterday morning to go to work i went to start it and it acted like a hard start kinda like dead batteries. so the rest of the day it was fine then this morning i went to start it and the starter would turn halfway over than stop then half a start then die then it started up. so are my batteries bad they are everstart maxx made in march 06 any help is appreciated

 

Starter might need an overhaul also. Along with that have the batteries load tested and have the alternator tested as well. BTW, I had a stock Mopar battery make only 2 years.

 

Be sure when you load test the batteries you diconnnect the cables, I had one bad battery that was draining the other. I had the same symtoms. Good luck.

 

Yea! Sounds like have a bad battery. Check independant of each other. Good news, three year free replacement it seems to me.

 

thanks guys i had them both tested independently and they both went bad so i got new ones and it cranks like a champ its so wonderful to hear the beast sound like her old self again.
