Ball bearing pilot bearing???

So..does this seem like a worthy mod while the trans is out?

See sig for mods. Run heavy from 13K to 22K.

This guy has a fascinating selection of stuff - especially in his TOOLS section! yummy..... BUT, I just bought the engine barring tool from Cummins NW for less than half what he's charging for it, so maybe shop around a bit on price? He does sound like he's a belt and suspenders type on parts selection, and I go to THAT church....

Peter at South Bend does this on all of his clutches IIRC.

I like them a lot better than the needle bearings!

I have one in my truck-installed it with the SBC FE clutch. Really beefy and MUCH better than stock.

I think it would be foolish NOT to upgrade this part once you have it apart. I for one don't want to peel it apart in 50K more miles to change a failed bearing whent he clutch is perfectly good!
