Bad Ecm
My fuel gague has stop working. I thought it was the sending unit but it is not. When a scanner was connected it said "DTC in ECM" 1699. I can clear the code but it just comes right back. When I clear the code the gague start to work. But, if I let set for about 1-2 min. it stops working again. I have been told that I need to repalce the ECM. Any suggestions about this item or where I can get an ECM other than the dealership.
