Not sure if its the same, but my '01 took a 1 11/16" socket. Had to use a cheater bar to get it broke loose this past weekend. My FSM says to torque to 175 ft-lbs. Hope that helps..

If you have a northern tool close I got mine there. The one I got was an impact socket, lifetime warranty and was less than $20 .

hi
thanks for the socket size and torue requirment !
will watch for that one at some flea mkts , see them for about $5 each there .
found out did not need to replace wheel bearin as the mounting bolts had come loose .
just tightened them with a breaker bar this time ,apearantly i did not have enough torque on them when i had them off to reface the rotors ??

Get a 3/4" drive breaker bar and socket from NorthernTool when you do need to get that nut off. You really have to stand (and jump) on it to break it free and torque it back up.
