Automatic trans controlers

Who makes the best controuler that can be used with a 47re . I've got a Goerend ordered an they've told about just installing a toggle switch to lock the converter . But dozen't someone make a controuler for the forty seven that has settings for towing economy an performace or use with exhaust brakes ?

Yes they do. For towing the controller can lock up 3rd gear for engine braking going down hill. Same thing also in 2nd gear down hill and will unlock the converter when is at 2500 RPM so it damage the converter. Same thing going up hill, you can lock 2nd gear 3rd gear. With the switch if your tranny can be damage if you forget to turn it off. Also if you lock up before the RPM are up you can damage the converter & clutches due to low pressure PSI. For exhaust brake you will need heavier exhaust springs and enjoyed the ride down hill.

I would like this too. I would like to change shift points and converter lock up. Let me know what you find.

Ok i'll check it out thanks . I just noticed what you said about heavier
exhaust springs when installing a E Brake . What brand brake are you running an is it what you'd recommend if you had it too do over?
