Apps or VP44

Looking at MWI VP Diagnostics symptoms match dying VP for the computer on top, but the I'am getting codes 0122, 0122 though it took a lot of acting up to trow a code. Or do I need both?

I would go with an aftermarket APPS from member Timbo01 here on the forums (After an APPS reset), as it is considerably cheaper than a VP44. Your code does point to an APPS issue. What are your symptoms exactly?

Dead pedal some times sometime stalls out and resumes without moving pedal sometime it requires the pedal to be moved in order to pick up again. It does not matter if I am driving or just revving the engine. Truck starts and idles great. I replaced the APPS just over a year ago do you know how long of a warranty Dodge gives on parts?

I think 12 months, but I wouldn't even count on that. Timbo01 has a great unit, more durable that the OEM it would seem, at a fraction of the cost. Sounds to me like it could be the APPS rather than the VP44.

I have Timbo's unit on my truck and it's great! Of course I had to replace my lift pump and the vp44 first. Truck has about a 1000 miles on it since all the work was done and it runs like a dream!
