A few weeks ago, got the dead pedal and a few codes. The truck would feel like it was hesitating while slowly accelerating, like someone would barely touch the brakes and then it would accel at a "normal feeling. "Did the apps reset procedure, didn't help, so I just did the apps voltage recalibration and that seemed to solve the problem. The first voltage was .397 and I got it to .570, while the label says .578. But as soon as I left the driveway, the MIL light came on and when I got home, I pulled the P0122. The truck still drives fine, but I'm guessing I'm gonna have to replace the APPS. This sound right to yall?

PS, would an APPS from a 99 or 00 work on my 01, since I have a buddy who might let me switch it out just to check to see if it is my APPS?

 

I would defanentlly try the buddy's. I had that code and switched with dad's apps and I had the same problem, turned out to be my ECM

 

Well as for now the MIL light went off but I still have the P0122 code. I'll clear that here in the next few days. The truck is still running like a champ but I'm still hesistant of the APPS. Is it going to leave me stranded on the side of the road?

 

If the APPS does die, your truck should still run, only at an idle. So you should be able to get home, just very slowly.
