Any experience with RV injectors
I was thinking about getting RV injectors for a mild improvement in power and MPG. Is it worth it and would i need to anything else to the engine or trans first?!
Very mild improvement ...... about 40 hp. Don't know if it's enough to notice a difference; depends on the condition of your factory injectors.
If you've got over 100,000 miles and really just want a small gain... the RV275's are priced right and do sometimes improve mileage. Worth trying.

i just put a set in. i had the quad xzt+ prior to installing them.
i ran the truck with the new injectors on the stock setting of the quad box and the power improvement was VERY similar to the xzt+ on HP setting with stock injectors . . . does that make sense?
i haven't seen a gain in mpg - i'm still having fun with them.

Glad to here the difference is noticable. Should have considered the fact that +40 hp is a big percentage of stock.
And the xzt is what...60 hp at 2800+/- rpm... so 40 hp around town is probably about right.
Guys I know that added them on top of 325 hp trucks did not really see a difference unless at WOT.

i don't think a box with RV275's is gonna' cause you any problems, tranny-wise that is.
is your truck an auto or manual?
i wouldn't go any bigger on the injectors, and I would stick with a Quad XZT+ (or comparable) box. Anything with more fueling and then i think you are asking for trouble.
I think a combo such as RV275's and a XZT+ or Edge EZ is about as much as you want to go with stock transmission. Of course, that all depends on how you drive it, especially how you drive it with weight on . . .
as for good deal on the injectors - i got mine just a month or two ago from Peak Diesel Performance. I bought from Harry. Price on the site is best I could get get anywhere . . . $315 USD

oh yeah, i don't see a LP upgrade in your sig (nor is there one in mine).
i am running my truck as is as per sig and my idle FP is 10-11, when i step on it hard I can suck it down to 1-2, when cruising I can just keep it above 5.
I am planning on ordering and installing a Mitusa kit from Opie within the next month or two . . .
