...another misfire at idle question
ok , new lift pump installed and vp 44 about 2 weeks ago by cummins and now starting to notice a stumble when warm. it does not seem to do it til warmed up. tonight, while idling at a redlight, i could time it...count to 3 , stumble. count to 3, stumble. (or misfire). from what i have read, it could be a injector, or a cranky crank sensor. can anything else be the culprit? if it is a dirty crank sensor, where is it on a 24 valve and how do i clean it? if its an injector, how much time and money for that ? the vp costs with the lift pump took all of my trucks allowance so im not too enthusiastic about laying out more cash (12 valve seemed to never have ANY problems with more milage-ugh! ). any help appreciated!
My 99 model truck was doing the exact same thing and it was the injector, every one failed the pop open pressure test they were to low and new ones fixed it but I would probly by some 275s for a little more power and their cheap
