Amsoil NANO with Pre filter???????!!!??????

Amsoil NANO with Pre filter???????!!!??????
I just opened the box on the Nano filter from Amsoil for my 2002 24V. It has a Pre filter with it!!!! I have never seen one (Fleetguard or Mopar) with a pre filter. How am I supposed to clean as it states on the box when I cannot access the pleats of the filter????
