Alignment guys, HELP!!!

My brother has a 98.5 Dually 4x4 which is wearing the passenger side tire out fast around the outside of the tire. He had a alignment done & rotated his tires, but it got worse after rotating them. I checked the balljoints & no wear was found. Is there a way to adjust the alignment to flaten out the tire to the road, like a shim behind the hub assembly or something?

Is the truck pulling at all either way, or is the tire just wearing badly? And you say he rotated his tires and the wearing got worse on the new tire?

The truck doesn't pull either way, but wanders all over the road. I installed a Lukes Link & adjusted the gear box as Dodge TSB says to adjust it & it seemed to be alot better. We got it aligned by my brother in law who is a perfectionist on the rack. Rotated the 2 front tires, problem got worse after rotating the tires & now the other tire is starting to wear badly on the outer edge. The problem is on the passenger side tire.

You may want to set toe to very minimum (not Zero) if you do mostly highway driving.
There may be some offset b.joints avaliable if camber is off. Qualified front end tech should know about these.
The wider the tire and the more agressive the tread, the harder to get satsifactory wear and handling.

It isn't set at zero, but slightly tilted for road crown, can't remember the degree. It is in spec for sure. I am thinking that maybe I missed a bad balljoint or the toe may need adjusted again. I usually find all problems. I'm gonna check it again tomorrow If he stops by.
