Airtex lift pump in and...

Fuel psi is up and steady! Finally got fed up with my stock replacement $200carter crapp'in out with a shakey 10 psi at idle and replaced it with the Airtex in the stock location. Install wasn't too bad after you get the fuel filter out of the way, had to bend the return line slightly and I wasn't to happy about the way the stock fuel supply line rubs up against the firewall insulation once installed. Took about 2 hrs. taking my time. Got 21 psi off a started bump and about 18.5 while idling. Haven't checked WOT yet, will have to hook up temp. psi gauge for that. Looks like a promising replacement for stock or near stock rig.

I think the Airtex is a good bang for the buck. When I decide to replace my 103,000 mile carter an Airtex is going on. Cant see the reason on all the big dollar over kill systems.

Been really a popular setup for the stock and mild fueled guys!
