Adjust Lifters/Valves

New Member here...Just bought an 03 4X4 CTD with 120,000 on it. Runs great, but someone mentioned having the lifters adjusted...don't know if it was a 12V or 24V they were referring to. Is keeping the lifters adjusted an issure? If so at what intervals?

Thanks,

G.O. Jungle

Just as a heads up, I'd probably want to post your question in the 3rd Gen section.

Never heard of having the lifters adjusted since they are solid. The valves yes but that's not supposed to be done until 100-150,000 miles. Oh, by the way, welcome to the DTR.
