Just had the transmission rebuilt and now get a P1763 code, P1763 Governor Pressure Sensor Voltage Too High. I understand that a resistor can be added to fool the computer. What value should the resistor be and where is the best place to install it? Will a P1763 make it go into limp mode?

I am getting the same code (P1763). What resistor do I need to add and what connector/wire do I tap/solder to install?

Are you guys getting any second gear starts from a stop? They are often associated with high trans pressure and the resistor is needed to correct the second speed start.

I posted the details in a different thread so in a nutshell, my new VB electronics were not working properly. The GPS was not working correctly. Once changed it worked fine.
