99 Dodge cummins

overdrive seems to be searching in the 45 to 52 mph range is there an adjustment to increase overdrive kickin at say 52 and up

It's the converter lockup not the OD. Search the forums and you'll see a ton of solutions from APPS reset to tinfoil hats...I mean covering of wires. Mine has been doing it intermittently for years but just started getting worse so I came here for answers myself.

double check making sure the batt grounds are tight and clean.

All grounds and power lead connections, including alternator should be cleaned and properly installed. Sometimes just wrapping alternator leads with a fine wire and grounding the wire will shield. Adding a condenser to bat terminal and bolting to alt housing will stop issue. There is no ONE FIX fits all story here.
