My transmission will not shift out of first on its own. It will redline but if you let up on the throttle it will shift out of first and the rest of the gears shift fine. I have changed the output speed sensor on the drivers side of the transmission but not sure what else to look for. The transmission is stock and the truck is 4wd with 224000 miles on it. Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks

I had a shift problem with the truck in my sig and it turned out to be a broken wire in the harness going to the trans. Good luck.

Looks like its skipping 2nd gear so if a band adjustment wont fix it. A rebuild may be in the future for it.
