2500- My experience with DTT was when I had massive troubles with my stock tranny and was stranded they did help me a lot free of charge. I just called Bill K. and he talked me through diagnosis and helped me get back on the road again. He also offered me to send me just the part and installation instructions to fix it at stock level, and suggested that I should buy the factory service manual. I ordered the manual and the part needed and they sent it over to me- my credit card was billed with the list price of the manual, the price of the seal (less than 10 US$) and postage.
So my personal experience makes me believe that DTT isn't that motivated to sell you some stuff opposed to just make your tranny work right.

Just 2c from a satisfied DTT customer

You can cut/ remove the wire that sends the command to the trans for lock-up. Then repair it when the problem is found. The torque converter clutch solenoid control wire comes from the PCM. This wire is located in in the middle connector of the PCM, take out the bolt and wiggle out the connector. Look for small numbers molded in the plastic connector your looking for cav 11 . The color is orange/black. I only have a 2001 disk, but think this may be the same for your truck. Den

Ok. Thank you guys for all those replies.

My oil looks and is new, it was changed 2000miles ago.

I'm going to test it tomorrow in stock, without hypertech power programmer, when I get those "part-time" register plates for a week

You see, I cant get my truck in permanent register untill I have changed E-certificated lights on it.

Though, I have tst pm3, so I'm going to need stronger transmission anyway.
