6 speed tranny

what causes the truck to roll back on a incline when its in gear is it getting loose and old? what needs to be done to fix?

Whens its rolling in gear what gear are you in? Is the engine turning to, like if you parked a 4 cylinder on a steep hill and it would creep away becuse the compression wont hold it. I dont see an aftermarket clutch in your sig, does your clutch slip while driveing because you do have a good bit of hp there the stock clutch should be hurtin? Most likely your clutch is sliping and thats why is movin.

sweet that does make sence i do have a after market clutch in and it has slipped time to time its a luk pro gold not sure what kind of power they can handle

I don't know what Luk claims for power handling, but I'm quite certain that it's pretty mild, as their cerametalic is their higher performance clutch.

It's a pretty safe bet your clutch has had its limits exceeded.
