Ive heard that EvansCool waterless coolant will help a fair bit. Its not cheap by any means. You can find out about it here:

http://www.evanscooling.com/index2.html

Other than that, keeping your regular coolant/coolant system in top notch condition couldnt hurt either.

Coolant system

If you haven't already.....relocate (or replumb and ditch) the breather bottle.
Do a good clean-up on the engine side of your radiator.....you won't believe
the crud around the edges that gets "glued" in there from the cast-off caused
by stock breather-bottle/fan combo.

I did mine at 51k miles and was suprised at the crud...and mine is a 2wd w/no
"offroading".

Hope and pray! But, that doesnt allways work! At least for me it didn't!

I have heard that if you get over 150,000 miles, your probably safe.

Just use that truck like a Chevy S-10 and you will be fine,,, Keep the bed empty and it wont crack,, Tow what you want ,,But keep the bed light,,,, Thats what happen to mine ,,, As soon as I put a little over a half a cord of wood in it ,,CRACK goes the cummins,,,,At 172000 miles ,,,

Friends dont let friends drive #53"s

Good luck,,, If you want to see what your block will look like when it cracks,,, see my gallery,,

Sorry for asking I thought this site was for helping people, not trying to be a jerk but if it was that much trouble to post it again than you should not have done it .Thanks for the help anyways.
