47re torque converter lockup

Ok guys i have 99 2500 5.9 4x4.
Thursday night coming home started having problems with the transmission, when coming to a stop it felt like somone was pushing me .
Did some reading and talked to a few mech, was told it was the shift solenoid so i replaced it 104.00 bucks. But anyways that did not work . was told the converter is locked up, the question is the truck has 200000 on should i replace the converter or take the whole transmission and have it rebuilt, have never had any problems with tranny until this any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

No way would I go to all the trouble and expense to R&R a Trans with 200,000 miles on it just to stick a new convertor in it...I would want to do it right.

Get a hold of one of the good performance trans builders and do it right
