47re Flush
47re Flush
Is there a way I can get all the fluid out by disconnecting one of my trany lines? I don't want to pay to have it done but would like to get all the fluid out that I can. The system holds 16 quarts right? I thought I heard someone talking about this some time ago.
Yes, you can disconnect one of the cooler lines (one from the heat exchanger is psi line), direct it to a large drain pan, start the truck up in N, and have a buddy start pouring new aft in. Run it till it's clean, but have alot of fluid handy.
Ok dumb question, how do the quick disconnects come off? I was under there doing that and could not get it to come off. So I ended up just doing the filter. I even have the FSM and still couldn't see how it came apart.
