2500 3500, Is the frame exactly the same?

After totaling my truck back in March I am finally starting to collect parts to get it back on the road. I found a Ext. Cab long bed 2500 frame and I want to be perfectly sure that it will work on my 1 ton before I make the trip and shell out some greenbacks on this.

Eric

I got a little ways to go...

Yea, I "think" it is too. But I want to be absolutely certain before I buy. Can anyone confirm that it is the same?

The frames are indentical....as long as it is a QC long box 2500....most everything else is identical too...with the exception of the rear axle assembly and front bearing hub wheel spacers.

Wow. Are you certain that your rear axle is still straight? Wow.

Ok, well the frame is getting dropped off at the end of this week.

But anyways I got hit in the drivers side by a 05 Chevy Colorado which then spun me into a BIG tree on the passenger side. Nobody had any cuts or bruises.

Ya, I am almost positive my rearend is straight. And about the two tires, it did much better in the snow with only two tires on the back.

I think they are the same with the exception that I believe that the cab and chassis 3500 frame may be longer.
