24v H.P.
I don't know much about 24 v's. A guy at work has one and has put an edge juice with attitude and some new sticks in it, now he says he's getting 509 h.p.? Is he blowing smoke? Seems too easy.

depending on year/trans 24v have 215 or 235 hp, chip is like 120 hp? i think, but what it sounds to me, is he's adding number's he see's on boxes to what he think's his truck has stock and came out with an odd number, as far as dyno numbers....no way with just those mods, but I'm no expert, just replying to your post. with my mods i'd say i'm nearing 400...stock turbo is pretty limited.

I think he's blowing smoke. It's a 2001 auto, h.o. He claims it dynoed 509. Stock except the comp is tapped and stacked with an edge juice with attitude and some hi hp injectors. I dont know what ones. That just seemed way to easy to get that kind of horse power.

There is no thinking about it. It is all hot air. No way with just a box and sticks he is over 500.
Oh, just to add a little.... the HO trucks were not available with an automatic transmission. The NV5600 6 speed is the only transmission that DC put behind the HO.
