241 hdh seals

Wondering how bad of a job it is to replace the transfer case housing seal and the tail shaft housing seal. I've replaced every other seal in the thing and these last two still leak. Anybody know a decent manual or a website that has a schematic?....I couldn't find anything on google. Also is there a site that has the seals for purchase so I can avoid the dealer?

Thanks!

I don't think there are any gaskets. I just did mine and used RTV for the case halves and tail shaft housing. Not hard at all, although easier with the case on a bench as opposed to in the truck.

Thanks for the reply...RTV is just a silicone gasket material right? Maybe I'll give that a try. It does look like there is a gasket in there though between the case housing...not the tail shaft housing though. I know you have to buy gaskets for the np 205 and np 203 only because i've seen them for sale while searching for mine. How is the RTV holding up?
