Just to clarify..... The Dana 80 in the 1 ton has the same gear carrier in the 3/4 manual. All dodge Dana 80's are hybrid too because they all run Dana 70 axles and bearings. The 2500 Dana 80 has slightly smaller inner bearings but is essentially the same as the 3500 without the spindles for duals. The true Dana 80 differentials are used in heavier rated vehicles than the Dodge trucks.
