2002 CTD wont turn over

This is my FIL's truck. 2002 2500 QC 4x4 automatic

He told me that his truck wont turn over, and that he has been having to arc the solenoid to get it to start.

Tryint to fix this problem, he has had the starter solenoid rebuilt, & changed the keyswitch. Batteries are good, as well as battery connections.

I suggested to check all his connections real good, and trace the lines back to veryify everything.

Any more suggestions?

safety neutral switch could be faulty, thats the only component you have not listed as being repaired,

Should be drivers side of the tranny, towards the middle of the valve body, sticking back thru the case.

Here is a visual, figure 2 shows it pretty well.

Check fuse in power distrubution center box for starter relay. It frequently blows with bad soleniod.
