If it's the same as my 1998 I believe it's next to/ behind the starter. I'll let you know when I replace mine next week...

Maybe then, that pesky CEL will go away!!!!

I just looked the one up at autozone and it says 63, provided that's the right one. Problem is that they can apparently crack and then you have to chip away at em till you get it all out of there.

On an '02 you do not have a crank position sensor, only a cam position sensor located below the VP44. You can get a replacement at any Cummins dealer (around $45). If you need to get one online, hoeslidiesel sells them at a reasonable price . BTW it's a PITA to change without removing either the VP44 or the vacuum pump; but it can be done.
