Do the 2002 five speed transmissions have the problem with the fifth gear nut coming off like the earlier ones? If so, how hard of a fix is it and is there any kind of a recall or anything from Dodge on it? Also, what is code 1693 on a 2002, is that the lift pump code or a companion code?

I think the p1693 is a companion code.

I got one, along with about 4 others, when my ECM went south. If I not mistaken, I think that code just signifies a bridge between Dodge's PCM and Cummin's ECM.... but then I could be talk'n out my ****.
