Hey guys I posted last week about my tranny. I would like to know where the tcm is located. That will be my next check. I had a buddy put my truck on his computer and it did not pull any codes. I changed filter and fluid and ran the truck today and it ran and shifted ok temporarily and then started up again. Will not shift from 3rd to 4th except for once tonight when I pushed real hard. If you guys have any mor ideas I would appreciate it. When I dropped the pan there was wery little metal (about an 1/8 inch on the magnet) the fluid was a little discolored but not brown. Would I be best off taking it to the dealer for a check on the computer? I am not the greatest with this stuff and I need to get it taken care of, but I don't want to get shafted. thanks.
