2001" slugish when first taking off"
I have 2001 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel, when I first take off it seems like it's kida slugish
and also when it kicks down to a lower gear when pulling at higher rpm's.
Has anyone experence this kind of problem before?

Welcome to the site...you should find a lot of usefull info here...please start off by taking the time to fill out the signature in the User CP...this helps with troubleshooting so we can see what type of truck you have and the mods you might have...
Is this something you just started noticing or has this been the way the truck has always been?

Did you just get the truck or have you had it for awhile and just noticed the sluggishness? If this is your first Dodge with the automatic, I would be willing to bet that what you are feeling when it downshifts is the torque converter. The stock torque converter in these trucks is noted for its inefficiency. This is why so many buy aftermarket torque converters. Then again, you could have a boost problem, lift pump problem or something else. But I would be willing to bet if the truck is new to you, it's the transmission. I would check for codes and get gauges if you don't already have them and then start saving for a transmission upgrade.
