slugish when cold
slugish when cold
my truck is sluggish when cold won't even go up driveway i thought it would get better with auto to manual swap but it didn't runs great once warmed up was thinkin about swaping pump out but i don't know i have a spare pump well whole spare truck
How cold are you talking about?
When its cold out (40* or less), I like to let mine run for 30 seconds to a minute before taking off. Gives everything time to build pressure and get moving. My turbo is a little slow to spool and its a little sluggish when its cold before i get it warmed up, but other than that, I dont have any problems. It drives just fine, and I always let it get good and warm before driving it very hard.
Mine used to sputter and carry on when i start it cold. I replaced my overflow valve and it has been fine ever since. If your timing is at 15.5* and hasnt slipped, then I would replace the overflow valve and go from there with it.
