The only time it will go into first gear is when the shifter is on 1 or in the morning until it shifts to second and it occationally jumps between 1/2 gears at a stoplight. is it the transducer and governor pressure solenoid? thats what ive decided at i know howe to replace them i just don't want to if i don't have to. and where can i find a transducer ive only found a gps for $46.11

you should have a 47re trans and yeah it sounds like the GPS and transducer, might as well do a filter and adjust the bands while you're in there

Two different parts. Suspect governor pressure solenoid is what you're desiring.
