Question 2001 3500 Dually fuel mileage

What kind of average fuel mileage can I expect to get with this truck, (listed below) I just got it about three weeks ago and was just wondering what I should expect. It has 171,000 miles on it and I'm pretty sure it has 4:10 gears and has the 6 speed tranny. TIA

As long as you don't put a flatbed on, I was getting up to 17, even runnig 70. With a flatbed, I'm getting lucky to hit 15 most of the time.

Why a cat back? The 01 did not have a cat.

I get 22-26 on the highway aslong as I keep my foot out of it. By that I mean not doing over 80. I do have 3.55 gears though. and I am bone stock minus muffler and resonator.

Scarecrow, do your mileage long hand, my EZ adds 3 mpg to to digital. I'll bet you find the same thing.

Scarecrow how in the heck did you get a 3:55 under your 3500 ??

How is it pulling heavy loads ? I contemplate swapping it but the 4x4 kills the project....
