I have a 1999 dodge 24 v it had the same problem I replaced the aps sensor and did the same thing. I replaced both batterys and cleand the cables and I have put 2000 miles on it and have not had any problems after I have replaced the batterys . I had no signs of battery problems . the batterys were 5 years old
