by now most of us has had to replace the injector pump on our 2000 trucks. my question is did you have to reprogram the computor to accept the new pump? I lost about 8 mpg after the swap

no codes, tk is running great ,very little smokeItake it your talking about the key in the injector pump, I didn't think it would go but one way. and fuel pressure ????

 

Something isn't right. I replaced mine and saw the same fuel mileage. Could it be SO vs HO pump? Fill out your signature with your truck info, it helps think of possible solutions.

 

the key can be installed wrong, it is made to match the pumps timing (offset to change timing) if it is installed wrong the injection timing will be wrong...... the arrow on the key points towards the pump. you also have to use the key that came with the new pump
