This is mainly a diesel site Pendleton47....probly won't see much due to no egr on a Cummins, except for the turbo and you wouldn't want to delete that!!

I was guessing he was talking about one of the Cali emission ONLY 2nd gen 12vs.
I have seen one or two rigs on this side of the coast with the strange looking intake horn they came with.
I guess you could swap out the parts for stock parts from a truck bought in any other state than Cali..
Since modification of SMOG components is a federal law violation, I doubt you will find anyone providing EGR bypass kits.
On my Cali '98 12 valve, I simply blocked both ends of the EGR tube with plates made from exhaust gasket material. Sheet metal and gaskets would have worked. That led to the PCM setting off trouble codes and restricting some functions such as grid and fuel heaters, because the sensor didn't see an increase in the intake air temperature when it called for EGR activation.
