We had a rain/sleet/snow mix here today. Started out this morning at a balmy 33* and made it all the way up to 41*. Yesterday it was 44 and rainy, and the day before that it was 80 and sunny. Gotta love this Wisconsin weather

Well looks like I'm gonna put off the SB Con FE till after the hot weather gets here, seeing as how I have the PO 216 and occasional miss. I've got the dodge warranty, but we shall see how that works out, I've got a feeling when they see the gauges they will balk. And with my holley pump system, I don't want them changing it to in-tank when they do the VP.
Dude, you are making me want to park my diesel and drive my old 318 (actually, at the price of diesel, I'm tempted to anyway).
Are there any statistics on failure rates in heat v. cold????
This must mean that the failures are due to heat more than vibration.
My other question is: are any of these failures on trucks that had lubricity additives faithfully in every tank?????????????? Because that seems like my only hope...I have used that from day one with my new VP (now about 60,000 miles on the new VP).
