Just let your conscience be your guide!
Congratulations!,,,,,,,,,,,,, I've got another 18,000 and some change to go before I hit the 100k mark.

Have Cummins set your valves, that is all they have for a 24V at 100,000 miles that I know of.

Also, check your lift pump pressure (you or cummins), this is probably the most worthwhile preventative step a 24V owner can do.

Only 14K short of my warranty going away myself. I agree with gitchboy, just keep up with regular maintenance, check the valve clearances, add a fuel press. gauge to keep an eyeball on the lift pump and you should be all set.

Now if only there was a way to get the bank note to run out as fast as the warranty............

Not worried about it at all. I was just thinking about going with more power. I'll have your mileage pasted up in no time.

If you like the truck and have the money, it sure is fun to drive a CTD with an extra 100-200 HP! Up to 400 hp, IMO, the 24 valve is still very streetable.

400-450 HP even in a 12v has no problems living up to 325000 in my old rig and i know the rig has more miles than that now. Trenny was getting a little loose, but it pulled alot
