1 pump or 2
I got my Carter Campaign Pumps (ordered 2) today and was looking for opinions on whether to put just one on or use 2 and put the second where the stock lift pump once was. Thanks

I'm running 2 both down by the tank with the Vulcan Big Line. Loving the setup so far. I have the first pump power running off my stock lift pump harness and the second is run off an oil presure switch. That way I don't have full pressure until after the oil pressure is up. That way no hard starts.
I'm seeing 20-22psi at idle and 12-15 WOT

This is exactly what Vulcan told me to do yesterday. They also said that one pump should be enough and to add the second only if needed.
Where can I get the relay harness that is triggered by oil pressure?

Temporary option - 'bump' starter and let the fuel pump run for 5-7 sec .... than crank it. Will save starter motor from all that cranking and should catch right away. Sounds like your loosing prime at the injector pump.
Mine does that often on a cold engine starts but starts fine when warm. Sound familiar?
Also does cold starts easier when fuel tank is full????

Yes because the new campaign pump have the automatic bypass so when the motor isn't running fuel can still flow through the pump. If one dies My fuel pressure reads 11psi. I was curious about this as well and pulled one of the pumps fuse and drove around some to see how it acted. Worked great
