The pump is the original and has 98 k on it. And I've been running Delphi in 95 percent of my fill ups for the last 2 years and 25 k miles.

WOndering if this is connected some how. I got my second built trans about 2 months ago, right as it started to get cold. I have another thread on this issue called, truck dies when dropped into gear. A few days after the trans install, my truck started dying when I'd epop it into gear. Making it so I have to do neutral drops to get it driving any time after it's sat for a few hours. Originaly I thought it was the converter is too tight. But I'm wondering if my vp might also be week. My vp issues didn't show up till 2 weeks ago, and the converter is in the process of being swapped for a low stall. But on the other hand I can't help but wonder if the truck continuously stalling, hasn't done damage to the vp and that's why it took 2 months of neutral drops for my vp to start showing signs of failure.
