01 cummings no fuel, replaced the fuel pump, now has fuel flowing but after 10mins, it has like a miss fire, then shuts off, then refires nice but starts to miss again and shuts off. when you dirve it, it shuts off on you about few mins dwn the road, then hard start, check fuel filter but empty. so gotta turn on and off the ignition to fill filter back up. then restarts fine. recent engine/tranny replaced. HELP

 

Maybe got a bad lift pump from the store.

 

i forgot to mention it was doing the samething before we replace the pump but since it runs better but still having that problem.

 

Sounds like the pump is being restricted. Check for pinched fuel line from the tank. Maybe have a restriction in the tank itself.. double check for air leaks too..
