If it helps any my truck has a build date of 03/2000 yet its titled and called an 01. everything I buy for it I ask for an 01. I think electronically the 01-02 are the same and the 98.5-2000 are the same (as they use different Map reference voltage .5V vs 1.0V)

 

Well, I know if you call Edge, BD, whomever, they sell tuners differently based on 98.5-00, 01, and 02. If its titled as an 01, its an 01... But mines titled as a 99, so when I bought a 99 filter, I expected it to fit. Everything else I have checked is a 99, so I think I'm alright.

 

i have a 11/99 titles as a 2000 with a 01 wiring harness, go figure
