I just bought my first 2nd gen ['00] cummins with an auto. It got into a little front end fender bender so I bought it for parts. Being a stick guy I don't know how to tell which auto is in the old girl.
I could pick out a nv-4500 by candle light

RE started in 96, went thru the rest of the years till the 48

RH is 94/95 only.
