My speed sensor busted (I was tightening it after the speedo stopped working, and the nut cracked in half...), so I went to autozone and bought one. The one they show in the puter there. Installed it, got speedo back...wait! Uh-oh...I'm going 70ish aand it says I'm doing 54...yikes! What did I do wrong here? Is there some part I need to ask for INSTEAD of what shows in the puter? Annoying to have the speed be THIS badly wrong.

there is a gear reduction box that the speed sensor sits on top of. that could be your problem. i have a 4wheel drive so mine comes out of the transfer case i dont know what the 2wd ones look like
